Critically Loved offers several ways to get involved!  Join our team to make an impact in our community!! Critically Loved Could Use Your Help!

Volunteer for OVER the EDGE 2024

Spend a few hours making a big impact! Volunteer at our Over the Edge event, tentatively scheduled for September 7, 2024! Volunteer time options are 7:30am-noon OR 11:45am-4:15pm. Or make an even bigger impact and be a ROPES VOLUNTEER (training 3 hours on Friday, Sept 6th and volunteer time 8am-5pm Saturday, September 7th). This is a big fundraiser for Critically Loved and your help would be very impactful so we can continue providing support to families with critically and chronically ill children in our community!! Special Needs Moms Night Out

Special Needs Moms Night Out held at Down Syndrome of Louisville on Thursday April 11, 2024. Since this involves direct contact with families we serve, all volunteers would need to fill out our volunteer form above and we will do a background check.
Serving time slots are:
4:30pm-6pm for set up
5:30-7pm for serving dinner and cleanup kitchen
8-9:30pm to serve dessert and cleanup
Would love to have a few volunteers for each time slot or volunteers are welcome to serve more than one time slot😊

Special Needs Moms Hike & Picnic

May 11, 2024 11am-1pm at Tom Sawyer Park
Come help serve moms or donate some drinks or pampering bags for moms to take home from the event!

Summer Family Picnic

June 2024
Help serve families lunch or donate art supplies and be in charge of an activity area. Come help make this a fun event for families who need time to forget about doctors and therapy for a few hours!

Hospital Comfort Bags

When a child is in the hospital, it's a stressful time for the entire family. Critically Loved provides some items to make their hospital stay more comfortable and to let them know we are here for support. Collecting items and assembling the bags is a great way to help support these families while also creating team building opportunities within your organization! Volunteer groups collect items, then get together to assemble the hospital bags. Scroll down to see the flyer. It's a great activity that even children can participate in! This does not involve direct contact with families we serve so no volunteer application is needed. To sign up or get more information, email admin@criticallyloved.org
